Hi
My 2002 Hpi has done 77,000 miles.
I have had to replace the rear bearings so far.
The rear suspension Unit in the middle had to be replaced by the dealer just
before I bought it 20 months ago.
The spheres still seem to be fine, they don't look like they have been replaced
for a while, going by the crud around the joints.
I don't think the suspension is as good as the BX/Xantia for comfort or road
holding (unless on Sport setting, the car seems to sway on motorways in wind.
anybody else notice the sway?
Gavin

and so far its had a pipe and a broken wire to the pump so not bad compared with
most cars, i use mine as a taxi so its over the bumps all day long. the c5 is a
cheap comfortable car thats a good choice to use for the motorway.Any Questions
just ask as ive probably got knowledge the most common faults.

reasonably OK with engines and general car stuff, but this fantastic suspension
system is a mystery to me! Whatr are repair costs like?

> Hi Phil, The only trouble you are likely to have is that the spheres will
become unservicable. Nothing you can do until the car starts to show symptoms
like bouncing around and giving you a hard ride.

does 1 to 1 1/2 bounces, it's probably O.K. If you have a fault, it's just
replca the faulty sphere. Easiest suspension in the world to cure. Hardest bit,
getting someone trustworthy enough to do it properly. All the best.... Peter.
