Hello my new c-car friends,
I finally got myself a citicar last year for $800 . I found it on craiglist,
drove to Atlanta to find a really beat up car rotting in a field. It would not
roll so I had to drag it up on a trailer to haul back to Tampa, Florida.
Batteries all dead and swollen, cracked front windhield, shattered rear
windshield, full of mud daubers and pine needles, brake shoes frozen to the
drums, frozen master cylinder, broken brake lines.
I have been reading your posts, and have learned a bit. Glen informed me that I
have a transition car which seems common, and that I have a Dana rear end (I am
taking that as a compliment).
So, as a High School physics teacher, I am taking this summer break to get
started on her. Learning from past mistakes, I will be getting her to stop
before getting her to go. I was an electrician on a Nuke Sub in my younger days
so those contactors take me back, to simpler days, which is cool.
I look forward to collaborating with you all. Thanks for having me. Will try to
attach pics.
