Re: Central locking

Paul,

I test my unit by applying 12 volts momentarily to the unit. Using a battery,
touch the unit's contacts, to see it move. It has a small motor that operates a
lever. Motor should run, actuator will move. Then, reverse the polarity of the
battery and test the unit again. The actuator should now move in the opposite
direction.
Unfortunately, that's all the help I can be. When looking at the wiring
diagrams, I can't read the wire numbers because the print is too *&%$ small, so
I can't tell you about the switch with certainty, or anything else. Don't have
a switch out of circuit otherwise I would test it. Still, I'll bet that the
switch is designed to do what is described above- reverse the polarity of DC to
the unit. So, hope this helps.

You need to tap into the 2 wires going from the fusebox to the door. I'm not sure what colors they are but if you take off the door panel you can see. Then put...

Now I have figured out how it is connected. The door unlock wire from the alarm goes to the light blue on the relay and the lock wire goes to the white one. Do...
