that's mostly true. of course, MINI is a very complex BMW :-)...
we're now pretty good at bringing new ECU's online, now that we have
the appropriate component architecture.

i have personally seen and touched with my very own hands the
preliminary hardware units that will be shipped to beta testers. the
software has been stable for a while.
that said, Uwe reserves the right to establish delivery schedules.
i have my own ideas of what those are, but i like my job, so i must
refrain from sharing those. only little loose ends are holding us
back now.

that is the current schedule. only actually doing the E46 will tell
us how well we've built the architecture, but new models should enter
the product stream fairly quickly following initial deployment.
