The ammeter does show up in the Workshop Manual on the dash board for the SA322 or SE328 WITH FUEL GAUGE OPTION but nothing shows up in the wiring. Jim

It's necessary to modify the voltage regulator to fit an ammeter to a Berkeley. I don't think that an ammeter was ever fitted to any two stroke Berkeleys, and
