Dan, I wouldn't necessarily suggest it, but I have towed my '67 M416 over 5K miles (some on route 95), most at 70mph, never having looked at the bearings....
OK, one more time.......I tow my trailer between Prescott, AZ and Juneau, AK loaded well over the 500 lbs it is built for. That is approx 5000 miles each way....
