An adapter plate won't work cause you're going from a large boltcircle to a
smaller one. The center of the hub wont fit in the center of the wheel.

... Edit: spindle info is probably incorrect the center hub on the trailer is 4 1/4 inch diameter and the jeep 2 1/4 inch sorry for the bad info!...
