Hi,
I was wondering if someone could give me some input on what is right to finish
up a '57 D3 150 silencer?
Mine was missing the baffles and "fish tail";so I acquired what was supposed to
be a NOS fish tail for it,and some used baffles.
Problem is,I don't know which way the baffles are to be fit as they are just a
series of cups joined with a through tube;and maybe they aren't even whats
supposed to stuck in there in the first place ???
Secondly the silencer body is round in circumference , while the fish tail is
oval.
So,is it supposed to be oval,or did it get squashed along the way somehow ? This
piece appears to be diecast aluminum, so I didn't want to start straightening it
without checking first.
Any help would greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Craig
