Hi David / Luke, this could be another case where the brand is the important issue, rather than the material. Perhaps if I had tried the powerflex product I might have had a better outcome.

I believe that the front end geometry of the E34 was optimised for a smaller wheel / tyre combination, and possibly the use of high performance tyres and larger rims tends to wear out the bushings faster, specially if you dirve the car enthusiastically (road or track).

I might give the powerflex's a go next time I change the bushes.

I have the Powerflex bushes (black) in #62. Have had for a few years now and very happy with them.
