BMA Autoparts California based BMW parts supplier - in almost all cases, can obtain original BMW parts and deliver for less than BMW's best prices here (but not always cheaper than some BM independents can obtain - so shop around!) Best prices are obtained by emailing Patrick at patrick@bmaparts.com http://www.bmaparts.com/

Tightening Torques for M3 thru M12 (in materials like steel I'm guessing) If in doubt, here is a guide for maximum recommended tightening torques for threads M3 through M12, 4:6 quality through 12:9. If you can't find it in the manual, here's your next best bet. Probably based on steel as the threaded material. Could be less for softer alloys. http://www.npfasteners.com/pdfs/max-rec-tightening-torque.pdf
