Looking for Female Motorcyclists (Please Read)

As the African proverb says,
"It takes a village to raise a child".

In a village, every young person can
learn the ways of the world from dozens
of adults outside his or her family.

We cannot expect to create villages in
21st century Southeast Washington, but we
can give better guidance to our at-risk youth
with the next best thing – mentoring.

The time has come to prepare for the second annual "Girl Talk" Conference at
Ballou SHS entitled "Becoming a Woman… The Decision." The Decision for
these young women will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2005 from 9:00
AM to 4:00 PM at Ballou SHS located at 3401 Fourth Street, SE.

How can you get involved?

Sisters With A Throttle (SWAT) MC is extending our fellow female
motorcyclists an invitation to join us on Saturday, March 19, 2005. Six (6)
additional volunteers are needed.

Also, on Saturday, April 23, 2005, SWAT MC will be organizing a day of
Mentoring. We are asking the ladies of the MC Community to please join us in
making this a successful day. Activities include: Day Spa – Dinner – Theater
