Description

PHOTO:

This is a photo of an early 1950s foreign car club in the USA, called the Four Cylinder Club of America. It was taken around 1951. List member Bill Wilkman is researching the history of this club. You can learn more about this club, and see lots of photos of vintage Austins at www.fourcylinderclubhistory.com. If you have information on this club, contact him at WilkmanRacing@aol.com.

WELCOME!

This is is a global group of dedicated Austin enthusiasts. Many own restored vehicles, whilst some are plodding along on restorations. Whatever the state of your car (if you have one) you are welcome regardless. You don’t even have to have a car at all; it’s just the interest that counts!

Many of us have Austin County model cars. These are the Austin cars named after Counties in England. They include, among others, the A30, A35, A40 Devon, A40 Somerset, A70 Hereford, A70 Hampshire, the Atlantic and the A40 Sports... Are there any we have forgotten??? Is so, let me know about it. Anyway, we cover all these models - and more!

We are interested in all cars that fly the Austin banner!

Anyone is welcome to join; only please keep it clean and green!

If you have had some adventure with your car, or have some story to tell about your restoration efforts please let us hear of it.

If you have photos, you can load them to the photos section and place them into a folder with your name on it. If the moderators find some that are suitable for the homepage, well, you may be pleasantly surprised one day.

Do you have something to sell? Have you been looking for that "hard to get" part for simply ages? If so, this group has a "Parts For Sale" section.

PLEASE NOTE: When you go to join, you have to follow the prompts. Please could you write a short note about yourself, your cars and where you’re from, (which country etc.) as some folk are joining and we cannot tell who they are. We wish to keep this group safe for all of us.
Have a happy day. :-)
