OK, I'm no good at putting together flashy internet "marketing" (sorry about that); but, I'll do my best to tell you about the Noble Order of American Biker Knights ("ABK", for short)
First of all, we're a small bunch of friends who've been riding together for a few years now. Some of us are/were HOG members; some of us came out of some local riding clubs; some folks came along for a few rides and decided to stay with us. After a while we decided to make things a little more formal and we formed the ABK.
We like riding together as a group. For one, it's safer (cagers may not see 1 bike; but, they will notice 6-10 riding together). 2nd, it's nice to have some buddies with you in case you break down. And, it's just more fun to share the road and the ride with friends that you know you can count on. But, most importantly, we wanted to be a part of a group that sticks to the old school values of Dedication, Honor, Loyalty, and Brotherhood.
Just to be clear, we are a Fraternal Order (open to men and women) not a Motorcyle Club (however, we have tremendous respect for the MCs and their members) and we use a medieval rank stucture to recognize and reward excellence. In addition to riding together, we also work to promote bikers' rights and support biker/local charities. And, yes, we have a few members who get together to practice fencing and archery.
So that's it. The ABK may not be sexy and it definitely won't make you rich; but, if you're looking for a group that loves to ride and is serious about things like brotherhood and integrity; then we invite you to apply for membership.
ABK membership is open to anyone who is at least 18 years old, owns or has regular access to a motorcycle (or is comfortable as a regular backseat passenger) and lives close enough to Denver to participate in rides and events. Members are required to maintain an acceptable level of participation. All makes/types of motorcycles are welcome.
