How much are those white inst. panels??  I'm thinking not $486 bucks..  Might be wrong though, but I think if I saw the price that high, I'd have not saved the idea for later.  Could always go 'junking' at junl yards..  Cost ya whatever you can haggle for..  I picked up all sorts of goodies for my CSC (dash parts, rear lenses, etc) for no more than a few bucks per part..  Course it takes some time to find a place that's got what you need, but well worth it! ;)

Well,  not good my friend.  The part that peels is basically the one-piece instrument panel which costs $486 online (even more at the dealer) and requires removal of everything - and I mean everything - on and in the instrument panel in order to replace,  so it's got to be many hours of labor + the chance that they wont put something back just right.

i am having a similar problem... my dash is peeling
but i'm at 41,000 miles on my 2000 gls, i have to fend
