Description

This group is intended for past, present, and future Alcan winter participants. It will discuss Alcan history, winter rallies in general, and preparation for the next Alcan Winter Rally in February 2008.


The winter Alcan grew from the original Alcan 5000, and has been conducted in 1988, 1990, 1992, 1994, 1996, 2000, and 2004.  It's now presented every 4 years, for more information and story links visit: http://www.alcan5000.com

The Alcan 5000 Rally has run regularly since 1984 and is usually conducted every 4 years, alternating with Alcan winter. For more information visit www.alcan5000.com, or the Alcan 5000 Summer Yahoo group.

The Alcan is presented by Rainier Auto Sports Club, and sanctioned by the Northwest Rally Council.
