This is a community where Adventurewagen (AW) owners and admirers can share information and experiences related to these rare and wonderful vehicles. The group is predominantly populated by owners of the Volkswagen (VW) Vanagon Adventurewagen conversion (aka "Vanagon High Top"). These conversions were done by Ed Anderson in Ft. Bragg, California, and were available in model years 1980 - 1991.

Prior to 1980, AW conversions were done on early VW buses, and owners of these AWs can find community and information here. After the Vanagon was discontinued, Ed shifted his conversions to Ford vans, until his retirement some years ago.
