APV is a new 2004-2005 futuristic van car created by Suzuki APV design team Japan.

Suzuki positions APV as its global market strategy car and gradually replaces the trusty Carry 1.3 (=Every+ in Japan). With measurement no more than 4,155mm overall length and 1,655mm overall width, it sure is a reasonable compact van that's easy to be parked where parking lot is premium.
APV was press launched internationaly at July 22, 2004 and been manufactured by PT Indomobil Suzuki International (ISI) Tambun plant, Bekasi, Indonesia started in 1st of August, 2004. The Suzuki APV made big news, especially within Suzuki owner clubs & car fans around the world.

APV major characteristics:
1. Maneuverable compact body with spacious cabin
__Compact body is easy to maneuver, and still can accommodate up to 8 passengers

2. Refined styling with dynamism
__The front bonnet designed with sure stability, large bumper and projected fenders give a robust look to the compact body
__The driver's seat arrangement enables passenger-car-like driving, and the four hinged doors on both sides, not sliding doors, are to seek for passenger-car atmosphere

3. Versatile driving performance that closely meets various demands
__The 175mm ground clearance, and the air intake on a high position prove strong when driving on unpaved or flooded roads
__The performance of the aircon & heat resistance of the radiator are also enhanced for use in high temperatures

4. Engine, safety and price
__1.5L & 1.6L 16-valve, SOHC, in-line 4-cylinder engine variants equipped perform economically and powerfully in rough road conditions, on uphill or with heavy loading
__"TECT" is adopted
