The Matador Coupe, Sedan and Wagon uses the same AM/FM stereo radio as the
Pacer. You can use any year Matador 74 and up. However, pre-1977 radios will
have tuning knobs that have a shiny silver background finish while the 1977 and
up radios have a black background on the knob. I believe that the Spirit and
Concord radios are inter-changeable as well. However, the old Hornet and
Gremlin did not offer an AM/FM stereo radio option. They only offered an AM/FM
monoplex radio in those vehicles.
Hope that helps.
