Big News! The Hudson Hornet LEV!   Message List
Reply Message #58160 of 105278 |
Greetings!

I represent Hudson, LLC. We are planning to produce a Caprice 9C1-
based law enforcement vehicle called the Hudson Hornet LEV. We
have successfully secured all B-body chassis tooling from GM and
are currently finalizing construction of our plant in West
Franklin, IN.

Our Caprice-based Hudson Hornet LEV will have different sheet
metal from the 1991-1996 Caprice to give it an identity of its
own. In addition, we plan on using the new Chevrolet ZL1 427-cid
all-aluminum big block with sequential port fuel injection to give
the new Hornet LEV a performance advantage over all current and
potential future police vehicles. We plan to mate this engine to
GM's 4L80 transmission and utilize 4.11 gears in the rear end.
Expect limited slip and traction control to be standard. Beyond
this, I cannot disclose any program data.

We currently have 24 prototype vehicles deployed with law
enforcement agencies within the United States and Canada. These
vehicles are disguised as standard Caprices so that our secret
will not be revealed to criminals and the general public.
However, as a privelege to individuals interested in police
vehicles, such as those on this list, I have taken it upon myself
to divulge this information to you all. I know that there are
some who will probably be very interested to hear about all of
this. I just hope our lawyers don't get wind of this, so please
keep it on the DOWN LOW!

The law enforcement officers that have driven our modified Caprice
prototype test cars have made some very interesting comments. I
love the hear them. It makes me feel all happy inside, like I've
made a big achievement with myself and my life. The comments
usually go something like:

"What the f*ck is wrong with GM and why the hell did they ever
stop making these?"
"When the f*ck can we buy them?"
"Why can't those dumbasses at Ford build something this damn
awesome?"
"HOLY SH*T! Were these always this damn fast?"
"The goddamn G-forces have me pinned to the seat? Will my
lightbar fall off when I floor it?"

We expect to be turning out approximately 55,000 units a year by
early 2004. Currently, our venture is backed by several hundred
major corporate investors in the US and abroad. Hudson, LLC
currently employs management, legal expertise and counsel, sales
and advertising personnal, powertrain and chassis designers and
engineers that we hired away from GM, and several manufacturing
and plant effeciency experts. In the months to come, we will be
staffing our manufacturing facility with trained, professional
assemblers.

Our sales and advertising staff is currently working on an ad
campaign aimed directly at the nation's law enforcement agencies.
We hope to bone Ford right in the a$$ and take all their sales
away by 2006 or 2007. Our web site should be up soon, at least
within the next few months, and you can find out more about our
new Hudson Hornet LEV there.

As far as resale goes, don't expect these cars to be auctioned off
to the general public. All law enforcement agencies that purchase
these cars will be required to sign a lenghty legal agreement that
protects the classified technology used within the vehicle. After
all, it will have a chip that will limit the top speed to 250
MPH. If these mighty vehicles would ever fall into the hands of
criminals, we'd all be screwed. Every Hudson Hornet LEV will be
required, under legally binding contract, to be sold back to
Hudson, LLC at a third of the original sale price, so that the
vehicle can be appropriately disassembled and remanufactured.
This will make America safer and more immune to terrorist attack
and/or criminal activity.

I cannot disclose any further program data. Please do not ask any
questions, because I cannot go into any more detail than this.
I'm already putting my job, my livelihood, and my family's future
on the line to let you guys know what the deal is with the new
Hudson Hornet LEV. More information will be available on our web
site when the time is appropriate.

Happy Holidays to everyone, no matter what you believe in!

Best Regards,

Vic S. Suck
Hudson, LLC
