This site presents the history of the "3rd Wheel Inc", a Mid America Sidecar club that was active during the 1970's and 80s. It ultimately merged with other side car groups to form the United Side Car Association (USCA) but it's roots were in the upper Midwest where SKUNKs (Side Kars Up Nort') roam. Many thanks are owed Doug and Estelle Hasert who preserved 3rd Wheel records over the years. Now being retired and traveling the country with limited space in their motor home, they passed them on, when history could have gone out with the garbage. Perhaps some "big people" will find themselves as children in the pictures and recall some good times. We hope so. Please see the first e-mail message entitled "Beginning" for additional background.
