This group has been established to provide a forum for the discussion of the issues surrounding the design, construction, registration and operation of scratch-built 3-wheelers. Many of our members are interested in replica cars loosely based upon the Morgan and other early 20th century cars but all 3-wheeler enthusiasts, owners, builders and prospective builders are welcome.

There are other places to go if you are interested in existing marques, like the excellent JZR forum, and of course there is the Morgan 3 Wheeler group for owners and enthusiasts of the original. Both have a membership with an expertise in their particular areas of interest only matched by their generosity. (See links).

However, for the special builder it seems harder to find somewhere to freely discuss more general issues and you can end up cluttering up other peoples groups with questions that are not related or seen as not in accordance with their particular interests. It seemed sensible therefore to set this up as a refuge for those builders (or enthusiasts) to openly discuss their ideas and problems.

There are few rules except:
1) if you can't say something constructive in response to a post then don't say anything
2) no politics, no supplier bashing, no people bashing, no squabbling - no exceptions!
3) no copyright material on the group site or via the group and respect the rights of the kit/car makers to protect their designs and intellectual property.

Added Sept 2007 to reflect situations elsewhere and to clarify the user’s responsibilities:

4) no posting of opinions or statements that may be interpreted or proven by others to be either improper, offensive, illegal or libellous in some states or to some cultures.
5) Posts made here remain the sole responsibility of the poster and do not reflect the views or opinions of the owner, moderators or other members of the group.
6) Members accept the moderator’s authority to delete posts and ban members without redress.
