FWIW.... Mine has no cat and no resonator with all mandrel bends going to a magnaflow muffler. It resonates quite bad in the car, but it's not too bad outside....

I went with Dynomax for mine, but it was all mild steel and wouldn't last long in some areas of the country. Really cheap, though. I had a "race bullet"...

I run a resonator and a magnaflow on the street car and it's just fine, not loud to me. That muffler is *quiet* for a stright-through, low backpressure design....
