I did the rears using Galant solid rotors and Miata calipers. Same as the fronts
you have to take off material so the rotors fit over them, make or buy the
mounting plate for the calipers and all is good....very easy when I think back.
This car has been a project for a while now and is nearing a point when it will
be driven so I can't say how well it works. The brake bias front to rear should
be very close proportionaly to the stock set up...everything is just bigger and
easier to service... I also used a 626 booster and 929 master cylinder with SS
brake lines. The pedal is rock solid with no signs of any dragging on the
rotors. All of this could be seen as hearsay of course but I don't see any
issues looking at it mechanically or in theory until I actually take it down the
road which won't be very long from now. The motor and trans went in 2 weeks ago
and now I am working on the Starion fmic and radiator stuff. The drive shaft
went in today as I was waiting for a fuel tank heat shield (thanks Bob Martin).

looking in the right place or what? Anyways, I understand the front galant rotor
swap just fine. How do you do something similar in the rear. I have heard you
can use galant rotors and maybe 1.6l miata rear calipers. If someone has a
definite answer instead of just hear say I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
