Ride meet-up is @ 9AM for those who are not joining us for breakfast.

Mt. Hamilton Ride - You and your scooter must be in good shape to ride a full day and 140 miles. This ride is for experienced riders. Lunch will be provided in  Livermore , courtesy of Vespa Livermore.

On your scooter and ready to ride by 9am, scheduled departure at 9:30AM.

Grants Ranch Ride – This ride will be a partial route of the Mt. Hamilton Ride. Less challenging and an out-and-back route.

On your scooter and ready to ride by 10am, departs no later than 10:30AM.

San Juan Bautista (Long Ride) 

Meet up @ 9:30AM - Ride leaves at 10AM

Vespa Club Los Gatos will lead a main ride to San Juan Bautista, a long ride through the valley not to be missed! Led by Pistol Pete Cervantes. 

Alice's Restaurant Ride 

Meet up @ 10:00AM - Ride leaves @ 10:30AM

Ride through the foothills of the South Bay, passing various wineries as you make your way to the world famous Alice's Restaurant. Led by Josh Rogers.

Self Guided Wine Tour – Ride and tour on your own to some of the best wineries in Northern California.  Refer to the Los Gatos - Saratoga Discovery map in your rally bag for nearby wineries.

Silicon Valley Tech Ride

Meet up @ 10:30AM Ride leaves @ 11:00AM

Ever wonder what is "Silicon Valley"? Considered where companies like Yahoo!, Intel, Cisco, Nvidia, and Sun Microsystems call home? This metro ride tours the companies that put  San Francisco 's South  Bay on the map. Led by Jesse "Jester" Keegan.

Shopping Ride

Meet up @ 11:00AM - Ride leaves @ 11:30AM

Have that itch to browse what's posh in shopping these days? Show-off your scooter's styling at its best while you see what shopping is offered around the area. Led by April Whitney and Lori B.

Check-in for your Amerivespa Rally Pack from 7pm to 9pm at  Los Gatos Lodge.

An escorted ride will leave every 30 minutes from the Los Gatos Lodge to the Scooter Music Night event, at the American Legion Hall. Led by Jesse "Jester" Keegan, escort starts at 7:30pm with a final ride at 9pm.

Saratoga Springs is a full amenity picnic resort nestled in the woods of the Santa Cruz mountains. Pool will be open, as well as a dunk tank to douse your favorite scooterist!

Games / volleyball / bocce ball / horseshoes / game room will be available. Lunch will be catered by Poor House Bistro (sponsored by Vespa Thousand Oaks).  Vespa USA and Saratoga Springs will provide a BBQ feast for our banquet dinner, that's all included in your paid registration. Beer, wine, and soft drinks are included also.

Scooter events include a fun gymkhana and slow race. To get everyone to participate, a timed Vespa build-off for teams of 3, hosted by Vespa Club of Sacramento, and more! Bring out your best scoots for the scooter concourse. VCOA has multiple categories so don't be shy – enter your scoot and you might win!

4PM - Go shower and freshen up, and get ready to come back for a feast and perhaps ride your new GTS 300 Super home.
6PM – The evening begins with cocktail hour

7PM – Dinner

We'll announce our concourse winners during the dinner and we'll announce the winner of the Vespa 300GTS Super, donated by Vespa/Piaggio USA for AmeriVespa.

Evening activities include short movie clips. At this time, fireworks displays have been curtailed in the valley. Fireworks are not allowed at Saratoga Springs or in Silicon Valley , unless provided by a staged event.

Ride to Santa Cruz

Meet up @ 10:00AM - Ride leaves from Los Gatos Lodge @ 11AM

Rolf Soltau and the Vespa Club Los Gatos will lead a ride the Santa Cruz hills, ending at Depot Park, Santa Cruz; the final barbeque will just be a block away from the beach, Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf and the Boardwalk. Scooter parking will be reserved for us. Vespa Club Santa Cruz will lead (as-time-allows) short excursions down scenic West Cliff Drive and the coastline during the afternoon.
