Good Morning ! 11:50 am GMT
Just enough time before next lesson to squeeze in a couple
of tips !

Tip 1 : If you are out in your summer gear and don't have
your water proofs and it starts to rain, stop at the local
petrol station and grab a pair of the plastic gloves for
diesel users. Slip them on under your summer gloves and
they will
       a) Keep the water out
and b) Stop the dye from the gloves staining your hands

Tip 2 : If you have proper boots for riding i.e "Sidi
Vertebrae" and you are going out for a long ride on a less
than average day. Get a hairdryer and warm each boot for a
couple of minutes before putting them on, this will ensure
that your feet stay warmer for a lot longer. I have tryed
this and know it works !!!

One more thing
Copius_17@...
is my mail address so send your photos stories tips etc to
me so that i can include them in the list. Alternatively
send them to 1bikepicsandinfo@onelist.com

Have a Great Day !!!

:0) (not bad for five minutes typing !)

At last i have permission to access Hotmail so i can bring
more pictures to the 'Daily Mail'. I hope that everyone
enjoys receiving the postings, please write to me or to the
list about what you would like to see or know. Now i don't
for one second think i do know it all, but i like finding
the answers to questions as it furthers my knowlege of the
subject.

FACT OF THE DAY : I don't want to upset anyone but; In 7
hours of driving a car you have a 1 in a million chance of
an accident, the same chances on a bike is 1 hour. So in
theory you are seven times as likely to have an accident,
but in general bike riders are more alert than car drivers,
so you could argue that the chances of an accident would be
reduced if car drivers drove more care fully !!!

(JUST A THOUGHT)

TIP OF THE DAY :
The best helmet cleaner is 'Baby Wipes' my brother swears
by them, apparantly the removes even the most stubborn of
flies

PICS : here is a memder of the list on His beloved
Fireblade

The reason that the ducati range of sports v-twins have a
somewhat dated steel trellis frame is that they have so
much torque out of corners that if the frame was any
lighter like an aluminium alloy the bike would produce huge
tankslappers out of every corner, that was the problem with
the Suzuki TL 1000 s

Site of the day : http://www.bikepics.com

Fact of the day : David Tardozzi the factory Ducati WSB
team boss was at the beginning of the season considering
having a double sided swing arm for the 996 to increase
strengh, save weight and improve bike-rider feedback, which
in turn would make racing easier, but when he went to clear
it at Ducati H.Q they said no as it would ruin the looks of
the bike !

Picture : SORRY another Hayabusa but this time it is a
great technical shot of the fastest production bike in the
world !

Hi all Website of the day is www.motorcycleworld.co.uk
Personally i think this is a great site for exploring about
news and new motorbikes it also has links to other sites

AMAZING FACT OF THE DAY : The two RC45 Hondas ridden by
Slight and Edwards in WSB are amazingly precise
machinery...obvious that but the time taken to produce the
bikes is amazing, the frame alone is hand made and took
over 500 man hours to construct costing Honda nearly
£500,000. 20 frames in total were made.

Sorry about the delay but i have returned to school and the
list takes ages to develop !!!

Note: forwarded message attached.
